AUDITIONS FOR "JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH"
The Cannon Theatre is super excited to announce auditions for the Winter play, "James and the Giant Peach"!! This much loved book by Roald Dahl has been adapted into a superb play by Richard George.
It is the story of an orphan, James, that is sent to live with his aunts, Spiker and Sponge, after his parents are tragically killed in an unfortunate incident involving a Rhinoceros. A chance meeting with an old man, and his gift of the strongest magic, marks the beginning of an amazing adventure involving seven fantastic insect friends, scary sharks, squawking seagulls and one very large peach.
The auditions are open for ages 8-18, and will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 to 5:30, Friday, Nov. 6 at 3:30 to 5:30, and Sat., Nov. 7 at 11:00-2:00, at The Cannon Theatre, 410 Great Rd., Littleton, MA. No need to prepare anything, as each person trying out will be asked to read from part of the script when they get there.
